“My story as one of the members sa CAS Basketball team so far isa sa pinaka nindut na nahitabo sa akong college days.I had only 2 things in mind on why I want to play for CAS Basketball. First, is that I want to play the game I love and second, is to have fun because intrams baya so for me it’s all about having fun ragud. But, my plans changed when we had our first team practice as a team then Julius Orozco and Charlz Lucrica, our captains said that “Dili lang basta team ang atong gi-build dinhi, but we are building a “Family.”, “ We are playing for the name nga naa sa front sa atong jersey which is ang CAS(College of Arts and Sciences) ug dili ang naa sa back part nga atoang names.”. Those words are now our motto as a team, that’s why we always shout “1, 2, 3 CAS!” every after and before we played. And also, the support we experienced from the CLASS fueled our determination to win the Championship last year. Even though we only placed 1st in our 1st year playing together as a team but in my mind we won that trophy already and I’m hoping that we can get that elusive title back in the CLASS Office.
It was full of ups and downs from start to end. Syempre student ka sa buntag then inig 5 pm mag tapok namo sa TAC for the practice then mag jogging sa campus mu saka ug kanaog sa stairs then mag drills dayun, kapoy gud sya. Nya mahuman ang practice almost 9 after that we have to continue our role as a student inig abot sa balay kay need pa mag buhat sa mga assignments and activities kay klase pa ugma.
The only thing nga akong gi look forward next intrams to be a champion ragud. Mao ragud na akong ultimate goal next intrams kay last year we are only 1 game away from that trophy and next intrams 3rd year nako(hopefully), so I want to graduate as a champion and leave a legacy sa CAS Basketball team na once in my life napa champion namo ang CAS."
