“As an athlete, at first it is very hard for me to showcase what I can really do in the game since it's a new environment for me and a lot of new people are watching the game. I was nervous and shaking seeing other players from other CNU schools doing warm ups and I can really say that they're way better than me and the skills they possessed are way higher than mine. I had many negative thoughts in my head that day but I still managed to erase them all, I put my trust to my teammates and I believed in myself that I can do more and I can win the game! The intramurals made me gain a lot of confidence to myself and I met new people which then turned into friends. I just enjoyed the game together with my teammates and acknowledged every opponent I faced. Determination, perseverance and cooperation have brought us to the championship match, we did our best and we fought till the end but unfortunately we lost the game. Eventhough we lost the game, at least we get to play in the championship match and played with full strength. 'Twas a very tiring and exhausting day but a very memorable experience of mine as a first year student athlete."
