Struggling with your study period?


Getting up early in the morning, sometimes getting into fight with adults and learners trying to take the last seat of jeepney. Students, even in motion as jeeps take its route on the way — holds paper full of highlights, a reviewer. A one of a hundred story of students before the birth of Covid-19 who want to pass and receive diplomas years after.


Along with the birth of Covid-19 cases here in the Philippines are the changes. Changes could have been better but not with this case. It brought so much negative difference and have made our living complicated. One of the changes is in the sector of education.


This school year's new normal mood of learning may be convenient (if resources are available); a hassle-free for some. But, in the middle of school year the news shocks us with the number of suicidal rates of the students. They were assumed to be pressured, worried and drained with the changes of learning. The diplomas and toga that student invision of felt even more difficult to reach with the screen-to-screen barrier.


Here are tips for students who are struggling to cope up and be able to pass online schooling without getting exhausted:


1. List schedule and activities Prepare yourself minutes before the start of online class and jot down notes of the activities with its deadline to help you be in organize.


2. Set your goals and strategies At least be able to finish one or two activities per day. You can start with the difficult one or the easiest, depends on you.


3. Manage your time Do what you have to do according to your set goal. Avoid social media scrolling of necessary, it steals time.


4. Have or call a friend When struggling to understand the lesson, give your friend a phone call or chat and exchange your thoughts and ideas. In that way, you become confident of what you do with your activities.


5. Focus Concentrate answering one activity avoid thinking of the other activities you have to do later.

6. Reward yourself After finishing your set of goal for the day, reward yourself with relaxation, snacks or anything that will set aside your tiresome.


7. Eat and rest To be effective with what you do, take meals on time and have enough rest.


8. Communicate Have a non-digital conversation with your family or friends. Share with them your frustrations and joy from your online schooling.


Privilege is the stepping stone that has taken you to where you are today and to your hard work. Many of the students who have been deprived of the right resources for quality education. Learning is more effective when a method is active than a passive one. Do online lessons like a pro with the valuable study tips above.
