Normalites! Time to take a break and let’s go drag the date back on October 21, 2019, wherein CNU Intramurals 2019 began.
The clock is ticking; the time is running suddenly you hear the echoing sounds of screams, cheers, and the lively music of the marching band.
This time last year was the break of the battle between pen and paper, for this is a time of showcasing talents and achieving excellence through sports.
Look and enjoy the scenes that transpired throughout the four days of last year’s celebration were banners from the five colleges hailed to the sky; enthusiastic and brazen cheers of normalites; athlete’s spine-tingling split seconds; and smiles that screamed victory from the champion of last year’s Intramurals: College of Teacher Education!
How good it is to relieve the past if it weren't for this pandemic, we would have witnessed and made better memories in the present.
Indeed! College of Teacher Education (CTE) defended their title as back to back champion for almost 4 years amid all the ups and downs, they still manage to demonstrate their capabilities to prove that no one can bring them down and to the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) consistently in the second place and still looking forward to rise from the ashes but still they prove that they are not just to rise but to create a lasting legacy for that year, and College of Nursing (CN) who brought the 3rd placer for the overall champion and as the most darkhorse team to conquer different fields and rise against the power of numbers.
In spite of all barriers to succeed the Medellin and Balamban Campus are both fighting a successful battle.
To all the Normalites for participating and sharing all the talents and skills last year's Intramurals and to be an inspiration on how to be humble in victory and embrace defeat without losing a heart and spirit as an athlete and as a Normalite.
Keep up the flag of sportsmanship and camaraderie. What a good fight the Normalites have!
